Homestead Refillery
Homestead Refillery Company is a new retail shop located at 109 E Jefferson Street (779-701-7832).
Owners, Dawn and Lou Maffeo state, that "our mission at Homestead Refillery, is that we are dedicated to reducing waste and promoting sustainability through eco-friendly practices. Further we aim to empower communities to make conscious choices that benefit the environment." Maffeo further states, "Homestead Refillery is a sustainable shopping space to refill everyday essentials from cleaning to personal care products using refillable containers to reduce single-use waste. Join us in reusing, refilling and partnering together for a cleaner, greener sustainable future!" Some examples of laundry products they carry are the plant based line by Root and Splendor. Tully Monster Pub & Grill
Tully Monster Pub and Grill is a local eatery located at 104 Liberty Street (815-941-5098) that offers cold craft beer, craft food, wine, craft cocktails, and all the usual suspects. This eatery has been downtown for almost 25 years and has indoor and outdoor seating options. They serve up comfort food in a cozy setting, offering burgers, wings, salads and more. If you are looking for a good lunch or dinner in a cozy environment, stop in to Tully Monster!
Why Tully Monster? This creature is the Illinois State Fossil and while the Tully Monster was originally found among the Mazon Creek Deposits located near Morris. Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE 1024)
If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere, then check out this social club with a public bar in a cozy, historic basement located at 120 Liberty Street
(815-942-0395). The bar has activities, events, and a Fish Fry. Watch on Facebook for all their activities. This club also has always been a great community member by letting others use their upstairs hall for all sorts of activities. If you are out and about, stop in for a drink, play a game, meet with friends and learn more about the #1024 FOE. The F.O.E, an international non-profit organization, unites fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills, and by promoting peace, prosperity, gladness, and hope. Morris is pleased to have such a great community organization and a fun stop on any pub crawl. |

This store has been in Morris for decades serving Grundy County combining convenience with quality. Recently purchased by local resident, Meghan Fehr and her family, the store will be a community focused wellness store offering high-quality supplements, holistic health support and natural wellness products. An exciting new development will be the addition of salt room therapy to combine their thoughtfully curated products with services to help people feel their best. Stop in to see the latest changes and additions to this iconic Morris retail establishment. Located at 320 W. Illinois Avenue, you can reach them at 815-941-2611. They are open Monday-Friday from 9-5 pm and Saturdays from 9-4 pm. They are across from the historic I&M Canal.

It's the sauce! Since 1959, this pizza has been vying for the best pizza in Chicagoland--thin crust, stuffed, and deep dish approved by Pope Leo. Famous for its Poperoni Pizza, calebrese, salads and beef sandwiches. The Morris location has recently moved to downtown and is located at 701 Liberty Street on the corner of Chapin in an iconic location with a beautiful bar and plentiful seating. They have a party room for private events and also cater events.
The restaurant is operated by Goyco family and is thrilled to be part of the association. The only day you can't get their great food is on Mondays. Otherwise stop in for lunch or dinner or both. Have a drink at their full bar or just grab an afternoon snack. |
